Quest Cottages Terms & Conditions

  1. Booking is made between you and Quest Cottages (UK Getaways Ltd).
  2. Once you have paid a deposit and your booking is confirmed, you are accepting our terms and conditions.
  3. The person paying the deposit and making the booking is liable to accept all terms and conditions, for all guests within the party.
  4. We cannot transfer your booking once the contract has been accepted. If you want to make any changes a charge of £40 admin fee will be charged. We are unable to accept major changes of dates or property choice.
  5. If you wish to cancel your booking please refer to the cancellation policy.
  6. To claim any special offers, please notify us when you book.
  7. Advertised prices are subject to increase or decrease however the amount confirmed upon booking is the price you are accepting and will not change for the selected dates.
  8. When booking, please give all names and ages of guests, as these will be the only people permitted to occupy your holiday home. Anyone not named could result in the booking being cancelled with immediate effect, with no refund or compensation.
  9. Total numbers of people allowed for each holiday home, must not exceed what is advertised.
  10. We do not allow single sex groups, stag or hen parties. If you are unsure if your booking is allowed please confirm with us before paying a deposit, as we will not be liable for cancellations once booked.
  11. All bookings must be made by a responsible adult aged 25 and over.
  12. Arrival time is 4pm, departure time by 10am. If you do not adhere to the requested departure time, we reserve the right to charge for any inconvenience caused.
  13. ID will be required prior to receiving any checking in details.
  14. All children must be supervised by parents or guardians. Children remain the parents’ or guardians’ responsibility at all times.
  15. If you have a disability and are unsure if the property you have chosen is suitable, please contact us in advance so we can give you all details needed to make a decision.
  16. If any of your party suffers from allergies we recommend you do not book any of our pet friendly accommodation.
  17. Smoking is not permitted in any of our holiday homes. If you do smoke, you will be charged your full deposit and may incur further charges. Please also stand away from windows and doors to prevent smoke from blowing in.
  18. Dogs are allowed in our designated pet friendly holiday homes. Please take note some are small dog only. Holiday homes advertised as dog friendly, can take 2 dogs maximum of any size. Dog charge is £25 per dog, per break. 
  19. We ask you leave the holiday home in a neat and tidy condition. Washing up must be done properly and put away, plus cookers must be left clean. If we are required to spend any extra time cleaning due to the condition in which the holiday home is left you will be charged accordingly from your deposit.
  20. We reserve the right to enter the holiday home at any time, in an emergency or special conditions.
  21. You are responsible for your possessions in your holiday home. We cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage. When leaving your holiday home please ensure you take all your items with you as we cannot guarantee the safe return of any items.
  22. We offer a large selection of hired items. A full list will be sent to you before full payment is due. Travel cots are not supplied with cot bedding, you will need to bring your own.
  23. All payments are due 28 days before arrival. You will be sent a reminder 6 weeks before your arrival date, giving you the payment options. Holidays not paid for in time will be cancelled with no refund given. We will try our best  to contact you, but we will not be held liable for lack of payment.
  24. Payments can be made via credit or debit card. 
  25. You will be provided with our on-call number when you arrive. If you should have a problem, you can contact us directly on that number. All problems must come via Quest Cottages regarding accommodation. If you have a complaint after leaving, please put it in writing and e-mail to info@ukg.group.
  26. On the very rare occasion that the property that you have booked is not available we will provide you with a suitable alternative or a credit for the full value of the booking, whichever available at the time. We will not be held liable for any further costs incurred.
  27. Our website is written by us and every effort is made to make sure the information available to you is correct. Photo’s are taken of the exact property you will be staying in.
  28. Deposits will be refunded within 7 days of departure, once all checks have been made. You will be notified by e-mail of any deductions from your deposit.

Holiday Park Properties Specific Terms (disregard for house or apartment properties)

  1. If you booked property is located on the holiday park then please be aware it is a family oriented park, so please behave appropriately and make sure your booking party also behave. If we, or the park staff, feel your behaviour is illegal, offensive, disruptive, inappropriate or disturbing to other guests you will be asked to leave the park and no refund will be given.By accepting these terms you are also accepting PDR on-site terms and conditions, which are available upon request.
  2. Heating charges apply from 1st October to 1st May for any caravans or lodges. Bottled gas is charged at £10 for a short break, £20 for a week. If metered will be charged by the meter reading. Chalets/bungalows are charged the same as bottled gas.
  3. Park facilities have requirements regarding health and safety. Children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult when swimming, maximum 2 children per adult. At busy times the swimming pool offers a booking system, or one in; one out. No photography is allowed in the swimming pool.
  4. Entertainment is available on park, entrance requires passes. These can be purchased on our website during the booking process, at our office when checking in, or directly at the park. Although entertainment schedules are often pre-released, changes to this can still be made and we nor PDR will be liable for any inconvenience caused. If PDR do have to close facilities, neither they nor us are liable and will not compensate. Neither cigarettes or e-cigarettes are permitted in the entertainment centre.
  5. Linens and towels are not supplied unless selected as an additional extra. Duvets and pillows are provided for each caravan, extras’ are not available. Please do not take the bedding outside of the holiday home as any misuse leading to replacement will be charged from your deposit.
  6. Please make sure you take care moving around the park and supervise children at all times.
  7. When checking in, please request a car permit if you are parking a car on the park. Please put the permit on the dash for the duration of your stay. Please respect the speed limits, parking and traffic regulations.
  8. All bookings within the 6 week summer holiday period, must include passes, linens and towels. Dates available on “additional extras” page.
